While I liked that feature on my old player I see many new players don't have that!
You want to return this unit ASAP while you search for replacements.
Hi. I just bought a Panasonic Blu-Ray player (DMP-BD80), and I can't figure out how to use it to search a disc by time (i.e. punch in 45:20 and have it go to that spot on the DVD). This is a crucial function for me since I teach film; moreover, I need to be able to do this not just with Blu-Ray but with standard DVDs.
There must be a simple way to do this, since all older players I've owned could, and this is supposed to be a relatively sophisticated player. But I can't find a mention of it in the operating instructions. Anyone have any experience with this issue?
