Seagate External Harddrive Problem.

Feb 17, 2011 6:15AM PST

I've got a saegate external hard drive 1tb, quite new maybe month or two old. I'm using windows xp and half the drive is wbfs format for my wii games and other half is ntfs, at least it should be.
When i format the part of the drive i don't use for the wii, it will say format complete but when i try to put files on there they will start to copy but then the time left till its finished starts to increase then the file wont copy.
I tried reformatting that part of the drive multiple times and defragmenting it, but i can't seem to get it to work.
Any other information needed i will provide. I'm mostly trying to put music and movies on the ntfs part of the drive.

Thanks for any help that you can give.

wii games aren't a problem anymore

Alright, i don't have to worry about the wii games no more, they are off the drive now, I just need the hard drive to work. Everytime i try to put files on the drive it will stop half way and freeze. I tried formatting it multiple times with the seagate wizard, but that doesn't seem to be working. If anyone has anything they think i could do, would you please post it here.
thanks
