Seagate Central

I copied everything from my Seagate Central to another external drive, before leaving for a trip. I wanted redundancy because I've been having problems with the Central. I placed both drives in a safe before I left. When I returned, and connected them again, the Central shows the drive is empty. Maybe I moved the files instead of copying them? I'm not new to this, but mistakes happen. When I try to copy them back to the Central from the other drive I get a message that there is not enough space, even with a very small file. The properties of the Central shows 0 bytes, but yet nothing can be placed on it. Is there a way to reformat the Central? I've tried resetting it with no luck. Any help?

I do not have Seagate Central Assistant anywhere on my system, nor on the Seagate drive. The Central drive shows that the Public folder is empty, yet when I check My Computer, it shows 100% full.
