where did you get it

If you got it from a carrier, the phone would be locked to that carrier. I don't think you can unlock a carrier phone easily......not in their interest for you to be able to switch between carriers easily.

OEMS do sell unlocked versions of their phone though, if that is what you are seeking.

Unlocking a T-Mobile phone

If you have been with them for 90 days just dial 611 on your handset. Get to technical assistance and request an unlock. Yes, it really is that easy. I have them unlocking my new v3t (I have been a customer for 2+years now and had the new phone for a week)

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
