Amazon.com is still showing a ship date of March 25.

2.
If it does have manual shooting mode where you can set aperture and shutter speed, that would be great news.

It means you could override the automatic mode in difficult lighting situations or action situations , and you can set the shutter speed or aperture manually.

But I am unable to verify that, as they have not, as yet, made the users manual available for download.

I will keep an eye out for information on that capability. If true, it will be the only ultra thin digital camera with that capability.

There is a review of the sd500 from dcresource.com which states that the camera does not have aperture or shutter priority except that you can set slow shutter speeds (1-15 seconds I think). I would be very surprised if the sd400 have greater capabilities.
