SD Memory Rec?

by pfinger1 / November 10, 2005 12:22 PM PST

I just bought a Canon S80 and it comes with a (rather cheap) 32MB SD card. I am wondering if anyone has any input as to speed, type, etc. of supplemental memory I should get. Any experiences with this? Thanks in advance.

you can buy 512 MB SD card. SanDisk is good enough. Also check the sandisk website for compatible cards.Don't buy single high capacity SD card like 1 GB or more. It's better to go for medium sized cards.Every new card must, must be formatted through the camera before use (not through PC).
thanks.

Why smaller cards?

I am just curious - why should I go with several 512MB cards rather than 1G or 2G?

This camera has continuous shooting ability and based on other cameras with this ability, it can benefit from using a "high speed" memory card.

Consider getting the SanDisk Ultra II.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
