sd memory cards

there are so many brands of memory cards on the market..my camera uses Secure Digital....anyone have any preferences to which brand is the best to buy (I need a bigger card)..

All SD cards are built to the same standard.

Panasonic's parent company, Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd is the founder of the SD standards.

Panasonic brand would certainly be a good choice.
But I buy whatever brand is on-sale.
Never had a problem with any.

Rule number-1:

When you buy a new card, A L W A Y S format the card with the camera that it will be used with. If you fail to do this, you could end up with a card full of pictures that you can not access.

You don't want to know that I don't buy brand lable for this commodity item. Compgeeks dot com was where I picked up the last dozen and some didn't appear to have a name on them. But they are working just fine.

I have found that the Kodak brand to be very good. Picked up a few at Walmart for around 39.95 256mb
