I have recently purchased an SD card for my TV, when I place images on the card I cannot view them on my TV. The error message reads "No valid image to play" I have loaded the images in JPEG format as the instruction book says but it wont work, can anyone help please!

Did you place the .JPG file in the DCIM directory?

Had same problem. You need to create a DCIM folder on the card, then place jpeg files in that folder. Then try again. Worked for me.

Creating a DCIM

"You need to create a DCIM folder."

I also cannot show any photos on my Panasonic TV.

How do I create this folder? And when you say card, do you also mean a USB stick? That is how I get the pics from the computer onto the TV. BTW, my wife has bought an Apple pic reader for her Mac (I am on a PC) but has not the slightest idea how to use it or even get started.

The advice is over a decade old. May not apply.

That was 2005 when the models needed that. Today they seem fine UNLESS the image is from my DSLR 18 megapixel camera. Smart TVs can't show those here.

Avoid dredging up old posts.
Always post model numbers.
Always tell about the card or stick. (TVs rarely understand those 256GB SD cards.)
