Jan 10, 2015 12:46AM PST

Hi

Connected my LG 880 android to my PC today. The sd card in the android wasnt detected by the PC. If I insert the sd card directly in the PC, its detected. And the android detects the SD card

Some knowledge about why this happens?

Android when connected may or may not offer to emulate a SD Card. There are tomes on the web about this but this is NOT a bug or defect. It's how it is.

That's what an OS is for. It's the same as Windows, you need Windows running on a networked PC to see it's disks. And you need something running on the phone to see the card. And that something is called Android on that phone (it could have been iOS or Windows Phone on other phones).
