SD Card Copy Protection

by resq91 / August 5, 2014 5:21 AM PDT

I am hoping to find someone that can help me copy protect data stored on an SD card. Is there a way to do this???
I have created some maps and would like to give them to a few friends but don't want the data on them to be reproduced or copied.

I contacted a manufacturer of data cards and they said they could write data to a card for me that was copy protected but the minimum order was 5000+ units......ugh!!!
Is there a way to do this?

Please give me some help.

While it is possible to create READ ONLY cards the brutal truth is that if you let folk read a card/file/etc then copies are possible.

Your posts don't contain enough detail what's up with your needs. We know we can't copy protect such to the point it can't be copied. You only need to look around at prior attempts to see all the failures.

To proceed, tell more about the content, how many copies so folk can reply with ideas that can limit the distribution.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
