scrolling problem?

Oct 28, 2006 6:38PM PDT

I have a scrolling message across the top of my screen, underneath the Address bar, as follows:
"finalizing installation"
Can anyone help, please?

3GHz Intel Pentium 4 HT, ATI Radeon 9200 128 MB DDR SDRAM, 160 GB.
Windows XP HOME Sp2. NTLworld Broadband, NTL AV software, plus Spybot, plus AD=AWare.

That's definitely not normal in any respect. I would repost in the Computer Help forum where you'll receive more replies. (This forum is reserved for discussing forum issues.) If possible, also include a screenshot of the 'scrolling text,' which will give us a much better idea of the problem.

To do this:
1.) Download/install/use the free program Gadwin PrintScreen to take the screenshot.
2.) Go to ImageShack.us and upload the image.
3.) Copy the direct URL that give you to your screenshot and include it in your next post.

I take a lot of screenshots, so I find it simpler than using the Prt Scr key, then opening a program such as Paint, pasting the capture, and saving the file, just to repeat...Gadwin does it all for you and lets you choose if you want to capture the entire screen or just parts of it. Personal preference I guess.
