Scrolling in Word

Jun 26, 2009 5:22AM PDT

Recently, when using the Page Up or Page Down key to scroll through a Word doc, it began to scroll each time by only 1/2 of a page. It was probably a hack, but how can I fix this?

BTW, I am using Word 2002 of Office XP-Pro and my OS is WinXP-Pro.

Thanx,

David

Re: scrolling.

What do you mean with "half of a page": half of the screen (15 lines if the screen is 30 lines) or half of a page in the document (30 lines if the screen is 30 lines, but a page is 60 lines).
That's a difference.

Amount of scroll

It scrolls each time I use one of these keys by 1/2 of screen (maximized).

That's very strange indeed.

It should scroll a full screen.

Make a new Windows account, create a new Word document there and see how this behaves. If it's OK, it's something in your account. If it's wrong also, it's something with the Word program or your PC.
Post your results.

Only this doc

I recently checked several other Word docs, and they were each properly scrolling by full page. Do you think it would help to Copy the contents of the half-page one, and then Paste them into a new doc?
