Try running a h.d.m.i. cable straight from cable box to t.v. If that doesn't help try running componit cables from box to t.v. If that does not correct then its got to be the cable box, Also Check out the Dish Network 211 hi-def system There hi-def package is great 5 channels of VOOM for $5.00 more per month. I have had the dish hi-def system for 3 years and the picture and sound are stunning Also you can throw up an outside antenna and pick up your local channels and the local channels will appear in the program guide other wise I believe dish charges $5.00 extra for the network channels but I receive 9 local channels with a cheap antenna please post back if this helps steweeeeeeeeee
Hi all, I'm getting a scrolling horizontal bar of waivy lines when I watch several of my video sources. I'm trying to track down what the problem is. This is a faint bar, nothing real obvious unless you look closely, but annoying none the less.
Has anyone seen this before? I'm running my comcast HD cable box and my xbox 360 through component cables to my receiver, then outputting the receiver with component cables into the component input on the TV. I have a power conditioner so I don't think it's that. This occurs while watching either the 360 or the cable box. I'm thinking maybe it's the receiver? I can also output my cable box with HDMI to the TV, is that the better way? What's the diff. between component and HDMI?
Thanks for the help.
