Question

Scroll Wheel button

May 10, 2014 10:17AM PDT

Hey!
My mouse has a scroll wheel which I also can use as a button.
However, I never use this button-function. So I was wondering: is it possible to change the button-function of the scroll wheel to a ''select all'' function?
So when I am in Word, for example, and I press this scroll wheel everything will be selected.

Kind regards Happy

If you have a Microsoft mouse, you can download the Intellipoint mouse driver from the MS web site and do what you want. If you have a different brand mouse, you might be able to do it if it came with its own driver. You can buy MS mice pretty cheaply.
`
Good luck.

Hej!
Thanks a lot. I downloaded Intellipoint and there are a lot of other functions you can use the Wheel button for. However, not for the ''select all'' or ''ctrl+a'' function. Do you know how I can fix it anyway? Maybe an other solution?
Thanks a lot! :

I can use the mouse to hilight text with a left clk, hold and swipe. I can then clk the mouse wheel and that text will paste into a document or email. I don't know if the latest windows does that.
