Question

Script on top left hand corner of Netflix.

Jan 7, 2018 7:18PM PST

How can we get rid of it? Someone asked this before and some dummy closed the thread and it wasn't even answered. They said hit the info button on the remote but that doesn't work. Happy go lucky mod closed the thread before being sure the answer was the right one.
So can someone please help get rid of this eye sore?

If you are not using an Xbox 360 or an Xbox One to watch Netflix and you are using your TV and you want to get rid of the information that is on the left hand top corner of Netflix look on your remote control for a button that says info this worked for me good luck I know that little box is very annoying

Answer for Xbox, PS4, and Roku smart TV

In summary, pushing the right stick on Xbox 360 or Xbox one should make it go away. Pushing the option key on a PS4. And pushing the * key on the home menu of Netflix for a Roku TV. Note that you have to exit the show and then push *. It won’t look like it did anything but it should be gone.

I had the same thing on my TV and after I read your post I tried the INFO button on my remote and it removed it, and when I hit info again it came back and hit it again and it's gone. So the info button works.

Xbox 360 or Xbox one:
-- press down on the right control stick on my Xbox controller and it goes away --submitted by 07stashley

PlayStation 4:
-- Pressing the right joystick makes it go away on the PS4 --submitted by Anyspritely

Smart TV:
-- On my smart TV what I had to do was go back to the Netflix home page where you browse and hit the option key before selecting my movie, you may have an * instead. -- submitted by Keikei33

Roku:
-- Going back to the home screen, pressing the * key and then restarting the show or movie was perfect. --submitted by cfriis1990
