"Script Error" Message at Start-up

Just lately, at each start-up, a Message appears -
"AN ERROR HAS OCCURED IN THE SCRIPT ON THIS PAGE
Line 5
Char 1
Error Blocked Referrer is undefined
Code 0
aidenavigation.aliceadsl.fr/process
Key = (there follows along sequence of letters and numbers)
Do you wish to continue running scripts on this page?
YES NO

Frankly I haven't the faintest idea what this is all about. Can someone enlighten me please? And tell me how to get rid of this annoying message?

Many thanks, R.Proffit.
I started with what you advised but found it was all advice applicable only to IE 6 (I have IE 7). I searched for advice pertaining to IE 7 . I didn't know exactly what I was doing (I'm such a Novice in these matters !) but I was, seemingly, being advised to "Delete all Temporary Internet Files" -SO I DID !
The Message SEEMS to have gone ! QEF !
PS I'm getting on very well with Sony Vegas Movie 6.

Microsoft will not update these articles to note IE 7 even if it applies. This issue is widespread to the KB and something that members have faulted me at times by replying that the article doesn't apply.

-> I don't mind that but some passed up a quick fix. You did better.
