Resolved Question

Script Error after startup.

Jan 2, 2012 10:30AM PST

I have an HP DV7 laptop, operating Windows 7/64 bit. After startup, a
Script Error box opens with the following: Line: 11, Char: 117, Errors:
Expected ")", Code: 0, url:
File:///C:/Users/Parker/AppData/Roaming/CBS%20Interactive/CNET%20TechTracker/data/temp.html

How can I eliminate this script error?

This usually occurs when there is a problem with the web designers code. You cannot fix this yourself but you can turn off the error message. Open internet properties on your pc. Click on the advanced tab. Go to the browsing section and place a check mark next to Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer), Disable script debugging (Other), and Display a notification about every script error. This should solve your problem with the script error warning.
