Script Error

Jul 16, 2009 8:29AM PDT

A few months ago i was deleting temp files and history etc in IE7, in the Internet Options in clicked on Delete all at the bottom of the list of history, passwords, cookes and temp files and all of a sudden i got a script error box that had no info in it and wouldn't disappear when i clicked No or even Yes and then I noticed that flash player wouldn't work and i can't seem to install it either, the script error eventually went away but the problem with flash still persists and i also tried to upgrade to IE8 the other day and it kept cancelling the installation, anyone know what might have happened and how can i fix it, im currently using Firefox but want to fix Internet Explorer....forgot to mention ive now gone back to using IE6 cos i thought it was a prob with IE7. HELP!!!

I have Windows XP Service Pack 2
