Whenever your computer begins to act odd, run a scan for spyware and your anti-virus program. Be sure they are up-to-date with the latest definitions.
My daughter has a relatively new Dell computer running win-xp he OS. For the past few weeks, she has noted that her screen saver will not start. She has tried settings for different time intervals, but it still won't start. She can get it to start when she clicks on "Preview". She has been trying to resolve the problem through Dell. Their Tech Support tells her that they have never seen this problem before. They promised to get right back to her, but haven't in almost a week. It is hard for me to believe that this is such a weird problem for a major computer manufacturer's Tech Support "Experts". I told her that I was confident that there was someone who is more knowledgeable that "Dell's Experts" (OR ME) with a simple answer. Hope someone can help.
