That's a well known bug. Microsoft didn't cure it... but you can work around it by setting the picture to none and back to your picture again.
In other words, repeat twice..
Again, no patch from Microsoft for this one.

I had a picture from my digital camera as a screen saver, then changed it. However, when I shut down my computer, my new screensaver will disappear and the other picture will show for a few seconds until computer shuts down. Have deleted this picture, why does it still appear and how do I get rid of it once and for all?????????
