Resolved Question

screen size

Aug 2, 2011 12:14PM PDT

Hello, I just upgraded to windows 7, seems fine, but I have one question . My desktop screen size, and web pages, only cover 3/4 of my screen size. Is kind of a pain. Havent found a means to stretch them to full size of my pc,s screen, the way they were on my Vista ( originally Vista Home Premium). My question is, how do I change settings to have desktop and web page, to stretch to full size of my laptops screen ? Hoping veteran techs here in forum can help me solve this puzzle. My thanks for your feedback.

And After Updating Drivers, Try Changing Screen Resolution
Aug 3, 2011 2:25AM PDT

Control Panel-Display-Adjust Resolution link in upper left.. If you've got a wide screen monitor, try changing it to something like 1440 X 900 for a 19 inch monitor, etc.

Hope this helps.

Did you finish your Windows Installation?

After you install Windows I always have to visit my machine maker's site for drivers such as motherboard and video at the very least.

Tell more.
