Screen size

I am planning on getting a laptop for college and I have decided that HP is the best fit. Now I am not sure how much of a different a 15.3 wide screen vs. a 14 in wide screen is going to make. The two series I am look at are the dv1340 or the larger screen in the dv4000 series. Any cons to getting an HP?

I'd get the dv4000, 15.4" screen i believe. The difference is weight, so if you don't mind a couple of pounds go for it. ALso, the dv4000 is using the newer dothan chipset, or was it the other one, i forget. I don't really approve of the pentium M until Yonah comes out, so yeah. No really cons to getting HP than getting a dell or any other manufacturer.

Do you think that I would know the difference with the pentium M vs. a pentium 4?
