Screen Saver Creator

Feb 7, 2005 12:08PM PST

I'm looking for a good yet simple screen saver maker that's free or inexpensive that will work on (and make savers that will work on) XP. It's just to create a saver from photos. I've found several, but none that really look good that will work on XP.

Any recommendations?

You may like this one. I do and I registered on it.

You can use it for free or for a small fee you can also become a member on the site and upload your family photos and send links to friends so they can view them.
On top of that you can download beautiful photography and the program allows you to also install the photo as wallpaper.

Thanks, but...

I did that, and, as you can see, the ones with reviews don't have very good reviews. I figure that anything less than 4 stars (80% satisfied users) isn't worth looking into. Hence my inquiry.

Look at Webshots -it has 140 reviews. But it has
34,338,062 downloads. Which one would your rely on - many people never bother giving opinions

If I am downloading anything and wonder how popular or good it is I look at the downloads rather than comments.

Thank you

Thanks for your efforts, I do appreciate it. I was looking for one that creates self-contained executable files, so I could send to family. I will give A+ a try.

Thanks again.

There is a built-in photo screen saver with XP.

....and it works great, but I was thinking about making savers to send.

Thanks.
