Yes and practice...

Yes, you can remove an old screen protector. Usually I leave one corner either folder or sticking up on the body of the PDA so that it's easier to remove. However, a trick is to take a piece of heavy tape and stick it to the corner of the screen protector and gently lift, removing the old one.

When it comes to the application:
* Clean the display off with a non-abrasive lint-free cloth.
* Blow off the screen until all dust is removed and be careful nothing falls on it during application of the screen protector...you don't want dirt trapped under the screen.
* Start by applying the screen protector to one side, not the top and bottom, minimizing the room for mistake.
* Make sure the edges of the screen protector are flush with the edges of the screen.
* Go centimeter by centimeter applying the screen protector and a the cardboard 'squeegie' to remove the air bubbles as you go.
* Pull the screen protector back a little if you see an air bubble or something under the screen protector.
* Touch the sticky side of the screen protector as little as possible, instead holding it gently by the corners.

It may take a little time and practice but the 'perfect fit' is attainable.

Hope this helps,
John

Its a little late for putting a piece of tape in the corner.

Why is it too late?

After the screen protector has been aplied and it comes time to remove it just taiece of tape and stick it to the corner of the screen protector...it can help you get a hold of it and lift it off. Unless the screen protector has already been removed it's never too late.

i thought u meant put a piece of tape under the screen protector when applying, What kind of tape do you recommend? The glue is pretty strong, i ended up pulling off the tape in stead of the screen protector. I've tried duct tape and invisible tape.

I use regular Scotch...

I just use regular Scotch tape. For best results:
* Apply the edge of the tape to the very corner edge of the screen protector. The part of the tape you are holding, conversely, should be above the screen protector, not the edge of the PDA.
* When applying the tape, use a penny or something else with a smooth, firm edge and gently rub it on top of the tape before lifting...it helps the tape stick to the screen protector.

It usually takes a couple tries and doesn't lift the corner very far, but it usually works and is far better than the alternative of using a pin or something to try to lift the screen protector, scratching your screen in the process.

One of mine is sloppy.

It even goes off the screen and onto the the frame.

I'd love to show it to you since you may write/say "Yuck". But it works fine for the task.
