Screen Positioning?

I had a power failure last night and now it appears that my screen may be cutting off a bit of my email (and I think my web page) as well, so my email loses the first few letters on the left side of the screen. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help.

My LCD has this "Auto" button which yours may have. Press that.

If you have buttons on the monitor, that also adjusts it

My Compaq has right or to left, up or down, wider or narrower for both width and height. Mine has one button but I have seen a lot of buttons on the bottom front or under the front of the monitor.
