Screen jumping

by 123shailesh / August 16, 2007 10:16 PM PDT

for the last one week i have been having this problem of my screen jumping around. by jumping i mean that the pages jump scrolls up and down on its own. I have noticed that this occurs only on the window having the focus and if its having a scroll bar. else its normal. if i have four windows on the screen, only the active one keeps jumping.

i tried replacing the power cord but no use. but i feel it cant be the power cord as the screen as a whole is not jumping, only the pages jump(i.e. not the menu bar, toolbar etc).

could it be something wrong with the mouse. i have a optical mouse.
i run win xp sp2. pentium 4. nod 32 anti virus. and also occasioanlly run spy sweeper.

what could be wrong....

If you have a scroll wheel on the mouse this feature can auto scroll by pressing, then stop the action by pressing again.

Also in control panel>mouse>button tab>uncheck "turn on click lock"

This was indeed the problem. I simply clicked the scroll wheel and the jumping stopped! Thank you.

The most beautiful phone ever has one wildly annoying issue

The Samsung Galaxy S8's fast speeds and fantastic curved screen make it a top phone for 2017, but the annoying fingerprint reader could sour your experience.
