you have a new computer, you should contact the tech support for the computer. there are many things that fall under the description of flicker, some of which are failing hardware.

I am also having a problem with my screen flickering. I've been told it's a memory problem, but increasing the memory hasn't helped. I just switched to XP from 2000 and I'm working in photo shop, Phase One's Capture One and Portrait One, I'm burning photo's to CD's and loading images with a card reader. I was able to do all these things in 2000, but in XP as soon as I "save as" in photoshop, or open a new image in photoshop everything goes nuts (as long as I'm also working in one or more of the other programs). The icons on my desktop flicker, my pictures flicker, one of the items in my task bar flickers. It's crazy!!! Any ideas?

Right okay I think I have an idea....

[Rightclick on desktop > Settings > Advanced > Monitor > Check "hide modes that this monitor cannot display" and make sure the "screen refresh rate" is the HIGHEST it will go.

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
