Screen fit

Dec 10, 2003 12:37PM PST

I just had issues with my screen display, so in attempting to fix them I became across another. My screen still has a half inch on both sides. I used to be able to fix this when I had 98, but now that I installed XP I am unable to find out where to fix this. I know I can set the screen resolution to make it fit, but with my video card options(All In Wonder Radeon) I used to be able to adjust the screen to make it fit. I just cannot find those options anymore.

Does anyone know where I can find these options??

Odoyle,

When upgrading to a new operating system, the video/display drivers can act differently and cause the screen to be displayed in a different manner. Make sure to get the newest video/display drivers for your version of video card, which will make it XP compatible. I gave you instructions on how to accomplish the above task in your last post at the link below:

And of course, in your situation, it appears like the simple solution may work. Each monitor has a screen adjustment knob, or buttons. These adjustments allow you to make the screen wider, longer, move up, or down, so that it fits in the monitor correctly. The knobs/buttons will be directly on the monitor, NOT in the computer settings. If you haven't already, try that first.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, I know about the adjustments on the monitor. The one to make it wider is maxed out. There used to be a tab on the advanced display settings I thought. I'll try out that link for now.
