Allright, I found a workaround by setting a custom resolution of 1282x721 in the nvidia control panel. Now it scales fine.Wierd thing is that every other resolution scales fine ,only the 1280x720 scales beyond the limits of the screen.
Hello, I have a 2033sw monitor and 8800gt graphics card and I use dvi input.I have a few games like crysis and stalker where it is impossible to get playable frame rates at native res of 1600x900.But when I use a lower resolution like 1280x720, the screen is stretched beyond the limits of the monitor. This problem does not arise when using analog input, since I can use the auto-adjust feature to make the display fit the screen(auto-adjust is unavailable in digital mode as well as h-position and v-position controls). However, I really would prefer using dvi over analog, if possible.Any way to make the display fit the screen in dvi?using some software maybe?please help.
Btw I use vista sp1.
