System restore to before using Citra emulator.
Also, write, post, complain to the Citra authors. Remember that NO ONE HERE may know what this did to your system.
As to the issue of "can't lose" if that is true where is the full system backup? You create this when the system is just as you wish. Also, if you have apps you can't reinstall, those are put on your list of "things I gotta find or find the installer" as someday malware or hardware will take out this PC.
My screen started blinking and flickering after using Citra emulator, at first it was only when the emulator was open, but eventually it began always happening even after uninstalling the app, formatting should solve the issue, but i cant lose some programs installed at the moment.
The issue is gone on security mode, so it shouldnt be hardware, i also tested a second monitor with extended screen and its normal there, when i disable the display adapter the issue continues, the task manager also flickers.
I am Having a lot of trouble pinpointing the problem, so any help would be wellcome.
I tried a bit of fixes already, those include but are not limited to:
1-Running full avast boot scan.
2-Disabling windows error reporting services.
3-Deleting and reinstalling display adapter.
4-Deleting all the apps i thought could be related to the problem.
5-Updating old drivers.
