Scratchy sound...

Okay so i have had my sansa e260 model mp3 player for almost a year, and it plays everything great amazing sound, but i noticed that after i connected it to my new computer and added a few tracks, all music on the player suddenly has a "scratchy" sound behind the music, i connected it to another computer and added tracks from that one, and the scratchy sound from every single song is gone... I don't understand how firmware or anything works on mp3 players, but could anyone explain why this happens?
