Sceptre X7SV-Naga - dead remote

Jul 13, 2005 2:00AM PDT

Hi Folks,

I got the Sceptre X7SV-Naga & have loved it. unfortunately, the remote died & I can't access almost any of the TV functions without the remote. I wrote to Sceptre for help & was tersely informed they were not making any more remotes.

The monitor did respond slightly to a panasonic remote (the record button would turnt eh monitor off & on).

But I want my full TV functions back, as I am using this as my TV (small apt). Any advice or help as to how I can get a useful remote again would be appreciated.

A Universal Remote to solve your problems

A Universal Remote worth its money!

Hello,

When it comes to purchasing a Universal Remote, you really have three options.
1) a remote with all the codes pre-programmed into it
2) a remote that can be programmed using the internet or computer.
3) a learning remote. A learning remote can learn the commands off older remotes through a tedious process of assigning buttons from the old remote to the new remote while aiming noth IR eyes of the remotes at each other.

Here is a remote I would suggest that will not be outdated anytime soon and should control your Sceptre X7SV-Naga without any issues. Every key on this remote can be programmed for your specific needs and can replace all of your remotes.

Hope this helps.
