So it has become apparent that the Scepter U550CV has some sort of "auto-delete" feature that deletes channels from the programed list if they don't have a strong enough signal. I live in a mountainous area, and how well I receive certain channels depends on what the weather is like on any one side of me. Lately we have had to run the "AUTO CHANNEL SEARCH" about twice a day depending on what channels disappeared when.
Is there any way to turn off this feature?
It really is annoying to have channels deleted (even when favorited) simply because signal strength was less than nominal for a few minutes.
