scanreg for CDs?

Oct 2, 2005 12:31PM PDT

Hi,everyone
I have damaged a CD by cancelling the recording. Now I can?t see the files I had recorded previously but I still can record new files. In the past when I had a problem with floppies I used scanreg and the problems were solved. Can I do the same with CDs?Or with optic media is not the same at all? Is there any software that can scan CDs in search of problems? Thanks a lot,
Claudia

Not worth the effort.

With CDR media costs down to pennies, it may not be worth the time and money to see if ISOBUSTER (google.com) can see the contents to be copied out and onto the next CDR.

I?ve tried isobuster and it?s the most useful software I?ve ever tried! But what effort are you talking about? It?s so easy and quick I can?t believe it! Thanks again!

My reference that repair of the original would be too hard.

And the use of ISOBUSTER was to be able to copy off what you wanted.

Glad to see you recovered your files.
