I see it does not have the slide adapter or backlighter. Let's say you can make your own. I think you should read:

--->> Bottom line. 35mm is about 1.5 inches so at 1200 DPI you get about 1800 by 1800 pixels on a scan of the slide area. That looks like 3.2 megapixels so that's enough resolution for most of us.

Hello all, I have an HP Officejet 6210 All-in-one printer.
Is there any way to scan some of my 35mm photo slides? I went to the HP website with no luck. Cnet forums is always the GO-TO place to resolve this type of thing. Thanks for any suggestions/advice
