I have that scanner and its the best on the market so far. Resolution on either is fine. The trick is to scan at a high enough res to get a better image. Hope this helps.
I have an Epson Perfection 3170 flatbed scanner that has a negative adapter and can scan at higher resolution than my computer can handle! I've only briefly tried to scan negatives, but it seemed to be quite easy. My question is, if I want to digitize my photo album, will I get better resolution scanning the photos or the original negatives? And what would be the desired resolution for scanning and working with the image?
