scanner driver too old

Aug 19, 2004 9:42PM PDT

I, like many others no doubt, have a perfectly good piece of hardware going unused for want of a driver to fit my current OS. Windows 2000 to be specific and an Info ImageReader Ultra FB7 (not any other number) that plugs into the LPT port on my Fujitsu 350 Lifebook. I've tried, and reinstalled over and over, the FB*.exe's I've found on various driver sites but still get the usual error messages, fail RAM test, twain problem etcetera.

Any help out there?

Thanks!

If there is no driver for that OS, then you use an OS that it works in. Linux supports some scanners so try that.

I searched Google and found listings of drivers other than FB*.exe.
The problem may be with your Win2k or spies or viruses.
