General discussion

scanner and cd label

Mar 9, 2006 6:25PM PST

I have a business that envolves giving the customer a large file consisting of 80-100 pages. I think it would be best to scan these and put them on a CD. My questions deal with what type 9f scanner would be best for this and similarly, what type of CD labeling system should I use to print the CDs, using my label marketing and also having the ability to print individual information.

Anti-label. The billion dollar study for free.

Well that's tongue in cheek but it seems like any study or project packs a billion dollar tag today. Here's the bottomline.

Labels on CD/DVD media are bad. Here's the study:

Given you really want to label the CD/DVD, I suggest you look at the HP LightScribe media and recorder. It's really great stuff. I'll upgrade to that as soon as my drive dies.
