SCAN TO PDF SOFTWARE HELP!

Jan 24, 2005 1:11AM PST

I am looking for a good scan to pdf software to scan mixed orignals. I do not need to scan OCR and do not need a system to file the pdfs. I have looked at Office Capture, Acrobat Capture and Paperport 10. They all have more features than I need- and can't confirm they handle mixed orginals. Can anyone out there help!

SCAN TO PDF SOFTWARE HELP!

I use CutePDF that can be found here: http://www.tucows.com/preview/317507.html
It allows me to create documents in MS Word, or any other word processor, using text and/or graphics from my scanner (they can be jpegs of a printed document too). Once the document is complete I just click 'File' then 'Print' then choose CutePDF from the list of available printers. The document is sent to CutePDF which creates a PDF file that I can save and share. Works fine, and it's freeware.

Have a look at www.scantopdf.co.uk

I suggest you download and have a look at <a href="http://www.scantopdf.co.uk" target="_blank">http://www.scantopdf.co.uk</a>. This package will scan your mixed originals from any Twain scanner and simply asks for a pdf name and a folder. It also has an option to Scan to Email which is a great alternative to faxing.
