You can't have an image that will scale itself without getting out of proportion, that is simply impossible. What if someone ajusts their screen to a nearly flat area? Your height will be much smaller and out of proportion than your width. Another thing is, if you have a screen resolution of 800x600, and you set up the background to be that size - when I view it with 1280x768, it will stretch into uglyness.
Nevertheless, you can set the image dimenstions to 100% by 100% rather than pixels.
Hope this helps.

Hi, I would like to have a background image on my page that takes up the whole screen no matter what size the browser window is.
So basicaly an image that is resized to what the browser window is. I would like the proportions to be kept in tact so its not unevenly stretched.
I don't want to tile an image, I would just like one instance of it centered on the page.
Is this possible?
Thanks.
