Saving VHS To DVD

Jan 14, 2008 2:17PM PST

Hi. I have been trying for a week now to turn VHS into DVD's for my Grandmother. Could someone please help me. I have WinFast 2000XP expert which I have managed to recorded the Video onto the computer, but here is the problem, I have DVD Shrink3.2 and when I try to open the file it says DVD Shrink has encountered a problem and cannot continue. failed to open file "C:/Documents and Settings/ Owner/My Documents/Open Gardens/Videos_TS.IFO". The system cannot find the file specified. I have tried in all different files but it still comes up with the same message. PLEASE HELP ME

WinFast TV2000 is a PCI add-on card with TV,FM,MPEG compression and PVR functionality. Make your own VCD/DVD.

Dvdshrink only work with .vob file as far as I know; so you need to convert the mpeg2 files to dvd first before dvdshrink will work. In other word dvdshrink is not the solution here nor is it a problem either. If winfast tv2000 didn't come with any authoring software then another software maybe needed such as Ulead moviefactory or some other. Good luck.
