Saving IE6 as a secondary browser

Oct 20, 2006 5:45PM PDT

Since not all sites are yet compatible with IE7, can I keep IE6 installed as a secondary browser and somehow only install IE7 as an extra instead of overwriting IE6?
If so could the IE7-incompatible page be tried again by launching 6 and minimizing 7?

You cannot install IE6 and IE7 side-by-side...if you install IE7 it will overwrite the previous version. However, you can always uninstall IE7 reverting back to IE6 if it doesn't work out.

I guess I'll just save the IE7 setup file then, and when I encounter anything that's not yet compatible I'll uninstall 7 for a short time.

IOW, I'll hang on to the IE7 setup and temporarily downgrade when necessary.

Thanks.
