The powers that be at the two satellite companies are pretty much hemmed in. They use a lot of bandwith to carry as many feeds as they do and if something isn't in dolby digital or sacd there's nothing they can do about it. If you want surround hook up your receiver to your home stereo receiver and select either the dolby pro logic II, or just the plain old surround and you'll get more than stereo.
WHY OR WHEN WILL SATELLITE RADIO DELIVER BETTER QUALITY SOUND THAN JUST STEREO?
