Satellite navigation update

Jan 17, 2006 5:25PM PST

I have recently bought a Medion Navigator 5 Satellite Navigation system for use in my car.I have come across new major roads thathave been built since the preinstalled maps were made.I believe that some gps systems have web sites where updates can be downloaded so that your gps can be updated. With the Medion system you have to wait for (an expensive)updated CD is onsale.I am wondering if thereis any way around this annoying problem!

Just thought I'd add a brief note to the discussion to let you know the Version 5 software may be sourced on ebay as I have seen version 5 for UK and Northern Ireland for sale on the site at a reasonable price and a lot cheaper than via Medion.
