Satellite L355D-S7809/Vista, NETGEAR wireless router WPN824 v3: The router is working(I'm using it to send this on another computer). Yesterday, the Satellite logged-on to the router, seemed normally, today, for no apparent reason, it will not connect.
1)Starting with "Connect To A Network", The table of available networks is returned, and the listing for my router(NETGEAR)is giving 5 bar signal strength.
2)Clicking on that listing, I get "Windows cannot connect to NETGEAR".
3)Clicking on "Diagnose the problem", the "Windows Network Diagnostics" window is returned, a message appears near the top: "Wireless association failed because Windows did not receive any response from the Wireless router or access point".
4)At the bottom of this same window is: "Click for information about using the event log".
5)Following this, from the "Network Diagnostics Events" window(The 'log' I suppose)the table shows the following:
I tried going to MS support, but it won't help me w/ Vista, it's only interested in the machine I'm actually using, which is XP!
Any help much appreciated.
