ok i seem to be having some difficulties trying to figure out the proper sata card to purchase. My problem is the manufacturers of sata cards are not saying what pci-x socket they are made for. I understand that you can put a lesser pci-x into a greater socket and you cant put a greater in a lesser. My question is how can i tell what socket a card is intended for if it doesn't directly say. I do notice that they include the MHz in which they run but nothing else. I need a 4 connecting sata II conntroller the 3Gb/s kind that takes a socket no bigger than 4x.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
