Some of the Far Eastern restaurants around here often get low ratings on the health department inspections. They tend to leave the meat and poultry out of refrigeration too long.
The potential for SARS to reappear is great from the Chinese traditional open fresh food markets. Guess what, the officials in charge of protecting the Chinese public has wained or not on the front burner as it were. If left unchecked, the consequences are less than desirable to say the least.
