Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1?

well i was deciding to buy to the Sony DSC-M2 with a price around $475, and was also deciding to wait for release of Sony DSC-M3, which unfortunately never received a date or price.

however now i realized why not go an extra $100 and get the Sanyo Xacti HD1? however would this be a wise decision or would i be better staying with the DSC?
