Sanyo Xacti VPC DMX-C5 Video Camera & ZEN VISION

Sep 21, 2005 9:06PM PDT

Can any body tell me if the New Sanyo Xacti VPC DMX-C5 Video Camera is compatible with the New Creative Zen Vision media player?

I basically want to know if the Camera comes with the right cables/leads to connect to the Media player to upload pictures and video without the need to buy a seperate media card reader for the Media Player.....or if the media player has the leads to do so also?

I know the media player has a CF Card slot but as the Camera is a SD card type id like to know if the camera or media player comes boxed with the lead etc.

Any help or advise would be gratefully appreciated.

Cheers

Steve

I don't think anyone can answer your question for sure, unless they happen to have those exact items.

Zen Vision says:

Transferring pictures from your camera to Zen Vision has never been easier. Simply slot in your camera's Compact Flash (CF) memory card, and let Zen Vision do the rest.

The optional Compact Flash card adaptor lets you use other popular memory card formats, such as SD, MMC, Memory Stick and more, with Zen Vision.

Here is what comes in the Sanyo package:

The Xacti C5 includes Sanyo Software Pack 7.2 (lead Photo Explorer 8.0 SE Basic, Ulead DVD MovieFactory 3.5 SE, Motion Director SE 1.1, QuickTime 6.5), Docking Station, AV interface cable, USB cable, AC adapter/charger, Li-ion Battery, Lens Cap, Soft Case, Remote Control, Cable Adapter, Power Cord, Strap, Quick Guide.
