Sanyo HD1000

I have just bought a Sanyo HD100 this camcoder uses a sd card to save to in High Definition format.

What I would like to know is if I can use my pc to first copy the file that I have recorded and then copy the file to an ordinary dvd writer, will the dvd which is played back in my Sony HXD970 (that has an upscaler built in) be in full Hi-Definition 1080p, or will the high quality 1080p be in standard definition.

Thanks for the help.

There will be loss during the conversion to SD DVD. It will still look better than most so get to it and try it.

Thanks No,

I am new to forums so please accept any mistakes. If I buy the LG GGW-H20L it's a Blu-ray writer and copy the file onto a blu-ray dvd will it play back on my Sony HDX970 dvd writer (that has an up-scaler built in) in the hi-def 1080p picture quality.

Thanks again for the help.

The HDX970 doesn't read Blu-ray.

Looks like an expensive dead end.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
